Let's go personal….I've been in and out of relationships for my entire adult life.  I've been married twice.  The first time was for 3 years, the second time for 8.  After that I was in a year long horrible relationship.  Then when that ended, I've dated another woman for 5 years.  With all the relationships I have been in, I have 6 children that call me, “Daddy”.  I say it that way because some are step, but to me they are all my children.  I have a daughter (18) graduated high school this year.  I have a son (17)  graduating high school next year.  I also have a son (14) just started high school.  A beautiful daughter (9).  Another daughter (8), that has been diagnosed as autistic.  And the youngest of the bunch my 4 year old son.

I have been down a long path spiritually as well.  I was allowed to believe what ever I wanted growing up.  I started getting into church seriously in high school.  After about 10 years, I felt a real let down when it came to Christianity.  I started looking around for other alternatives.  I felt drawn to the Eastern religions.  I had read “An Autobiography of a Yogi”, which really opened my eyes to “other” possibilities.  I started searching online.  I found an interest in Buddhism.  When my relationship with my second wife came to an end, I took a position at a Buddhist retreat in Colorado.  Since then, I have read and studied Hinduism and Advaita Vedanta.  One of the biggest influences is Ramana Maharshi.
